We sauna to connect, to reset, and to slow down — often at the end of a cool winter’s day, as the light fades and the air sharpens.

Tasmania’s climate gives us the perfect canvas —
mild summers, crisp blue-sky winters, and water that calls you in.

At the centre of it all is our custom-built sauna trailer —
designed for heat, rest, and everything in between.
Hot room, change room, chillout zone… even a cheeky fernery.

This isn’t just about sitting in heat.
It’s the full experience.

A guided session is a hosted sauna experience. We’re there to help you use the space safely, get the most out of it, and feel comfortable the whole way through — especially if it’s your first time.

At Harnon, we do things a little differently.
Call it the Tassie sauna experience.

For us, the hot room is just one part of the ritual —
heat, cold, and rest.

Sauna the verb, not the noun.

We strongly recommend your first session is guided.
We’ll walk you through what to do, and why it matters.

You might be a sauna veteran —
but you haven’t had one like this.

It’s not mandatory.
But it’s the best way to feel it properly — and the reason people come back.

A good attitude
No muppets — it’s a safe space. We’re all friends here.

Water bottle
Filtered drinking water is provided, but bring your own vessel. Silicone is your friend in the hot room — stainless gets very hot, and plastic… well, yeah.

Two towels
One to dry yourself, and a smaller one to sit on.
(Towels also available to purchase onsite.)

Footwear
Thongs, sandals… even Crocs if you must. There’s a short stroll to the beach, and proper footwear helps keep the sand out of Harnon.

Swimwear
Bathers, togs, budgy smugglers — your call. Public space rules apply.
Natural fibres are best if you can manage it. Synthetics like nylon and Lycra don’t love the heat.

No alcohol
Sauna and alcohol don’t mix. If you’ve had a few, give it a miss.

Note: Jewellery is best left at home — metal heats up fast, especially necklaces.

Whether you’re new or experienced, this is your introduction to Harnon. We’ll walk you through our southern take on a centuries-old tradition rooted in the north.

The Collective
Book a spot for yourself, or come with friends.
Reserve one or more places and enjoy a shared session in a small, welcoming group.

The Private
Book the whole sauna and bring your people.
